Who We Are

The Heaven’s Disciples® record company is a brand and a trademark associated with the marketing of music recordings and music videos.

What We Do

Heaven’s Disciples® manages such brands and trademarks, coordinates the production, manufacture, distribution, marketing and promotion, and enforcement of copyright protection of sound recordings and music videos; conducts talent scouting and development of new artists (A&R or “artists and repertoire”); and maintains contracts with music artists, DJs, producers and their managers.

History – The Foundation
2010

 
Heaven’s Disciples® was founded by Rodney “Insight” Burutsa on January 1, 2010 in Akron, Ohio, United States.

Heaven’s Disciples, LLC received its Articles of Organization as a Limited Liability Company (LLC) on February 8, 2010 through the State of Ohio.

Heaven’s Disciples Music Publishing was formed as a division of Heaven’s Disciples, LLC through Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI) on August 17, 2010.

2011

 
Heaven’s Disciples® made its first releases of A.P. Light’s music through Catapult Distribution on April 7, 2011. Heaven’s Disciples® Music has been listed on iTunes, Amazon.com, Napster, and other online music stores. Heaven’s Disciples® and A.P. Light were both featured by the online music distributor.

Heaven’s Disciples, LLC received the USPTO Registration Certificate (PDF file) for the U.S. trademark of its name on November 1, 2011. With the Principal Register of our name, we are now Heaven’s Disciples®.
